Older Infant Care (12 Months to 16 Months)
|
Our Older Infant Room staff are dedicated to creating a nurturing, loving environment for your little one.
Our older infant program provides a loving atmosphere designed to meet each child's individual needs. Because infants are in the midst of undergoing dramatic changes almost daily, stability, and a sense of security are paramount. They are assigned a primary caregiver. This personal, nurturing process fosters a trusting relationship between the child and caregiver. Children follow a set schedule and eat family style to develop social skills. A daily report is sent home with information concerning the child's activities, meals, naps, diaper changes, and overall disposition. Caregivers design activity plans utilizing
Innovations: The Comprehensive Infant Curriculum and the literacy-based curriculum,
Story Stretchers. Colorful pictures, puppets, stories, and engaging songs and rhymes encourage the child's physical, intellectual, and emotional growth.
