Ashburn Village Country Day School offers parents the convenience of enrolling their children in extracurricular activities during the school day. This way, you can enjoy your free time spent together with your child after school hours.
Professional, experienced and child friendly individuals/companies provide the following programs to children aged two to five weekly:
BalletFit
Learn to dance, exercise and have fun with movement.
This imaginative class is designed to explore the fundamentals of ballet through movement exercises with stories, dress-up clothes, magical props, and a variety of music while working on basic motor skills. |
Happy Feet
A non-competitive opportunity to boost self-esteem and confidence and will offer your child a head start in soccer techniques. |
Kinderdance
Kinderdance is a planned developmental dance, movement and fitness program taught in 3 levels, emphasizing the basics of ballet, tap, acrobatics, and creative dance while blending a variety of educational concepts. |
Computer Science
Ashburn Village Country Day School is proud to provide a Computer Science program as part of the standard curriculum at no additional cost.
The program is attended by the older two-year olds through school-age children. We have a library of award winning CD’s, published by many of the top vendors of children’s educational software.
We have ten computer stations, and each child has their own computer station. |
Spanish
Spanish lessons are incorporated into the daily creative curriculum at no additional cost.
Preschool children through Kindergartners are taught basic conversation including greetings, colors, numbers, and much more. |
