School Age Programs

Ashburn Village Country Day School’s Before and After School Program is the perfect combination of learning and fun. Transportation is provided for children in Kindergarten through Elementary school from most neighborhood schools. Transportation is provided after breakfast to Dominion Trail Elementary School every morning.

After school Kindergarten is offered to children who are enrolled in morning Kindergarten at neighborhood elementary schools. Ashburn Village Country Day School provides transportation from many schools and continues the day with a hot lunch followed by an enrichment program offering computer lab, foreign language and a continuation and review of the Kindergarten curriculum.

The afternoon schedule for the school age children (1st – 5th grade) includes a snack and outdoor playtime including team activities and cooperative games to encourage a supportive classroom community. There is also an opportunity for supervised homework time. Theme-related activities such as arts and crafts projects, games, computer lab, cooking activities and organized club time fill in the afternoon.

We also provide fun and educational programs during holidays, teacher workdays and school breaks.
